There are two possibilities here. Either your self consciousness (the part of you that controls you but you cant control it) is testing your resolve to its attempts at trying to destroy you (and I'm being serious with that), or you are in fact possessed by satan, and he's trying to destroy you (make your own mind up about whether I'm being serious with this).
Either way, seems to me you may have a hidden self destruct tendency in you. You definitely dont want to explore it. And you can definitely be confident I'm being serious about that.
