Is it normal that i cover all of my walls with tape?

I was looking at the ceiling of my room one day and i got really freaked out because i noticed some cobwebs. my solution for this was to cover every inch of my walls with clear scotch tape. i am not done yet but i am on my 36th roll of tape. It is expensive to buy all that tape but i just cant stop. is it normal?

    Look, insects are going to find their way in somehow. You may have won with the ceiling, but you can't win all the time. Besides, why waste all that money on something that trivial? Lol.

    You could've cleaned the wall or knocked them down with a broom. Both methods don't cost anything, but with this you'll have to buy allot of tape. From the title, I thought you meant that you got coloured duck tape and taped the cracks on the wall:/

    Why do not you rid the spider off and clean your wall up ? I think that is the better way.

    of course. i dont see anything not normal about this. i mean, who would want to clean the cobwebs off the wall instead anyway? that would save so much time and money but where is the logic in that?
