Is it normal that i constantly have phlegm in my lungs and throat?

Growing up I would always cough up "loogies" durring the winter, but a few years back I started getting plegm in the summer, too. Then, just all the time. I show no other signs of sickness (my immune system is actually much better than most), and I have never had asthma. Is this normal?

  • You may have a post-nasal drip. Do you wake up with sore throats or get really dry throat at bed time?

  • Do you hork (spitting your phlegm in big gobs) because I've heard that the more you do it, the more you HAVE to do it?

If it's in your lungs, you should go see a doctor though. You might have allergies and your lungs are constantly irritated and producing phlegm to get rid of the irritants.
