Is it normal that i collect my fingernails?

Specifically the long ones. I’ve done it for years, I think I started when I was 13, and I have a tiny ornamental box that I store them in. Doing it reminds me of how in some video games like Guild Wars 2, items like claws or teeth drop from defeated enemies and you can add them to your inventory.

    Sometimes I think it would be funny to leave a mason jar full of old toenails up in one's attic secure in the knowledge that someday it will be found, and the one who finds it will be perplexed.

    I really wished I had saved my wisdom teeth. There was a bicuspid with a filling in it that was pulled also. I wished I had saved that one, too. There's still two that haven't come in yet. If those ever need to get pulled, I'm saving them.

      No. Just fingernails. I don’t do it nearly as much as I used to.
