Is it normal that I clean the sleep out of my eyes with Q tips?

Rigggght... when it's only in the corner of my eye, and I'm wearing eyeliner?
That suggests that I should wash my face at least every two hours, for the sake of sleep in my eye, then redo my makeup.
I like how it's in capitals, like you assume that I'm unfamiliar with the practice of face-washing.
