If you believe in keeping your virginity until you are married then I certainly see no harm in that. I initially wanted to wait until I was married, but ended up just waiting until I found my first love who was also a virgin, and we lost our virginity together to each other, and I have zero regrets about that.
Follow what you believe in which doesn't necessarily mean that you have to be trying to fit in with other people, or conform to a particular image.
