Is it normal that i cant stop thinking about the guy i like?

well theres this guy i like and we both comfessed that we like eatch other but then he said that he liked someone else and couldnt choose and i got real mad at him and he has been doing crap like that for awaile including lying and such but i still realy realy like him and i can stop thinking about him.
