Anxiety and having a phobia even though the object of your phobia doesnt exist is something alot of people have, though you should certainly get help for it.
Auditory and I suppose visual hallucinations however are far from normal. If you had this since you we're young means you have full blown schizophrenia by now. In your case however the effects of it on your life are relatively small, apart from the difficulty to sleep and some OCD-like habbits you have to follow. Better than a voice telling you to kill people or a delusion that follows you around all day long. If what you say is true, you need psychiatric help and medication. Should allow you to live a pretty normal life.
