Is it normal that i cant remeber my childhood

I always try to remember my childhood but nothing really comes to me. I can remember certain things like what my room looked like when i was 8 but when it comes to memories of what i did and or how i was as a child i cant seem to remember. I can remember some things but there mostly not happy memories. Like i cant remember the first time i road a bike or stuff like that. Sometimes if someone who knew me when i was younger tells me something i can recall it but most of the time i cant...anyone eles?

    Not normal. I remember things as far as when I was 4 and I'm 36.

    Well, I remember a lot of things from when I was quite young (under the age of 10) but funnily enough the memories of the age between 11 and 16 are sort of lost on me :/ ... especially what you just said about what I was like back then and all that.

    Also I have some problems with 2,3 years ago, I just remember significant moments but forget many things.

    Im the same way and sometimes its better to not remember them anyways unless someone asks you something about your child hood and all you can say is ahhhhh... It sometime makes you feel dumb.
