Is it normal that i can't study on my own?

Have you considered asking your college for help on learning how to study?

I mean sure, sitting down reading the book can be boring. But there's other things you can do that make the information stick better.

For example...

- Type your notes out each night into a word processing program.
- Discuss the topics with friends
- Try to make an audio-file of the material and listen to it.

there's other methods too... just ask your college. They may even have tutors who can help.

Yeah, it's hard to be interested in something when you're alone in your studies. I like to have someone to share my interests with so my friends and I always study and do our homework together. Usually, friends are distracting but I can't focus without them.
