Be extreemly careful who you compare yourself with.
Most people compare themselves in an area of life to someone who has often spent a lot of time (sometimes decades) becoming good at something.
It's a false comparison. You need to compare yourself to people who are at the same stage as you. If you are a beginner at something... compare yourself to other beginners; 1 week, month, year into something - against other people with that amount of time into it. Not to the highly skilled with lots of experience and practice.
You also need to look at a group... there are a lot of beginners. There are a lot of people with the same amount of time... Look for the average of the group - not the shining star. Compare yourself against the average of your peer group.
IIN that I can't stop comparing myself to other people?
