Tell him the truth. I consider you selfish for oly thinking about you and your needs. Have you ever thought about what this could do to him. We are social animals and learn from each other once he finds out, which he will wether you tell him or not, he would find it hard to trust his future gf thaks to your actions as he wil find it hard to trust her AND the future gf will have to try and work so hard to make him trust her thanks to you.
Let him go. Be single and have fun that way, his heart is not a toy for you to play with
