The "playa" and the pimp stuff is due to Thug Culture, if I am not mistaken.
I don't like Ebonics. It's hard to understand and hearing makes me uncomfortable because, of the barrier of understanding and I don't know how to react to those words.
You can try to laugh, but it doesn't take care of the root problem. There really should be more of an effort to make them want to learn proper English. It's sad.
