    That's not parents. The age gap thing for under 18s is a legal thing, not an "if parents feel like it" thing, other than for if the parents are aware and choose to report it. Still not a parental consent issue at the core.

    If that was what you were talking about in the first place, perhaps you could have said it instead of sounding like a rape enthustiast. Though, I suppose, given your inclinations, you kinda are. Potentially, at least.

        I'm marrying someone who is American and I will be moving to the US.

        And unlike many of you ignorant Yanks, other people in other countries often have an awareness of countries other than their own. Or are able to use Google.
