  • I have always loved music: classical, jazz, pop, r&b, country or folk; if it sounds good, I love it. I have also been an avid reader; especially in my 20s. I have read practically all the great writers: Tolstoy, Dostoevsky, Melville, Hemingway, Steinbeck, etc. I also love visual art. If you listen closely to music and try to hear it for what it is, and not for what you think other people think it is, then you will hear the beauty in music. If you can appreciate good literature, then you can appreciate good music. Try Franz Liszt or Beethoven.
