Don't worry - most Western music these days is NOT true art. And I feel the same way. I feel kind of like a black sheep because while music has been popular throughout much of recent human history, it's HUGE these days, with all the music videos, music awards, mp3 players, etc. It's huge! But so much music, I just can't get into. I have about 3 bands/people that I absolutely love all their music, and the rest of it I could pretty much do without, besides some great songs here and there.
Odd thing is I play guitar and harmonica and want to play several other instruments, including the harp, cello, etc. Don't know what's up with that...
Is it normal that I can't really get into music??
