Is it normal that i can't paint clean lines?

Most of my painting looks really sloppy and sometimes muddy. I can mix color and render just fine, but applying paint to the canvas just baffles me.

Is It Normal?

    Try using a knife instead of a brush to get use to putting the paint on the canvas without a lot of mixing. Mix the colour on your palette, not on the canvas.

    Yeah for me it takes pure concentration to paint a neat one. Even when I paint my fingernails I always go all over the place with them.
