Is it normal that I can't live without marijuana?

  • I smoke weed almost everyday for the exact reasons you outline. I have horrible social anxiety, insomnia, anxiety in general about everything, depression. I tried taking medication (Cipralex) but it made me sick all the time and it made it impossible for me to fall asleep at night. Drinking makes me sick, so that didn't work. Marijuana is honestly the only medication that has worked in every aspect to relieve me.

It takes away my social anxiety, meaning I socialize more now and am happier because of it. It took away my sleep onset insomnia so now I sleep awesome every single night, it helps take away my anxiety about things I always overthink and it helps me deal with my problems easier because I see them in a more relaxed light instead of being stressed. It takes me from feeling "meh" to having an awesome feeling of euphoria everywhere I go. It's helped me get back into writing a book I've been working on forever, it made me inspired enough to start playing the piano again and now I write songs all the time whereas before I always had a block. Its taken away the nausea I felt on a constant basis, gave me back my appetite, and made me happier more productive person.

Don't let anyone bitch at you for using weed. You vape it, which is one of the best ways to intake marijuana as vapor does not damage your lungs in any way, so you're using it in the healthiest way possible. I use vaporizers occasionally and they're great for keeping the smell of marijuana hidden and for getting a really good, clean high.

And to anyone who wants to judge and call names and stand up on a pedestal and act like you don't have your own way of coping or that your way is superior, GO FUCK YOURSELF. Because I went through Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Psychologists, not smoking weed/taking medication, being on doctor prescribed medication, and using marijuana on an almost daily basis and I know exactly what does and doesn't work for me.
