Ok. So I was dating this guy for 7 years and we were supposed to be moving in together in December of 2009. Soo in September completely out of the blue he breaks up with me through a text message. I haven't heard for him since. Later I found out that he had left me for his 30 year old co worker with a 5 year old kid. She had fallen for him in February and they finally decided to be together after she left her husband in august. They were living together a month after he left me. Oh and did I mention he went shopping for engagement rings in July with my best friend? So it's been 7 months and I'm not far along in getting over this. I hate thinking that I might run into them together around town. It's all been such a mess and I feel like my life has been turned upside down and I have to replan my future all over again. Am I crazy?

    I know someone almost in the exact same situation I think it's very normal to feel like this.

    And don't take his sorry ass back! It doesn't matter how sad and sorry he is! Trust me, did he care while you were sad? NO, No he did not!! Be strong!

    He's an idiot! Don't you worry, he will never change and you're better off without him, he will do the same thing to her in time, wait and see! You are better off and I know it doesn't feel that way now and it's going to hurt for a bit, but he's a coward and it's better it happened now then when you had children! You'll see! I promise! You are going to be okay :)

    Poor thing. Your boyfriend dumps you through text message so he can be with someone else and then your "best friend" helps him pick out a ring?! That whole story is messed up in so many ways! No wonder you are having a hard time getting over it!
