I am very well aware of violence/empathy in our current society, but historically violence and lack of empathy for others has been (and for many countries, still is) the natural course of things. Globalization and education seems to have gifted humanity with a sense of empathy that we have never had before, but that does not mean that the vast majority of people, period, have completely integrated into the ideal of empathy for others that our society has self-imposed on itself.
Cooperation is nothing new, it is, in fact, proven to be the best method of survival and therefore will be adhered to, but that does not necessarily prove that the vast majority of individuals in OUR society give a legitimate fuck about each other. That just proves that we know how to survive.
Is it normal that i can't feel for people?
