Well if you want to go the religious route, The bible says that men and woman should be together and that being homosexual is a sin. But it also says that God is the only one to judge. It also says lying, cheating, stealing, sex before marriage is a sin; and i can assure you you've done one of those things. So who is it for us to judge someone just because they sin differently than you? And in the bible it talks about unconditional love and loving people regardless of their sins. So if you're homosexual at the end of the day you're loving someone regardless of their gender. Pretty deep stuff. One more thing to add is that lying cheating stealing all involves hurting another individual in some way. While being gay is about loving someone. It's not hurting anyone else, and it's their own person business. That's my opinion.
