Is it normal that i can sleep all day?

There are times that I sleep the whole day for straight 3 days. I only wake up to eat and take a bath, or brush my teeth. It's like I can sleep for a good 20 hours for 3 days.

I have bipolar disorder. I was thinking if I was just in a depressive mood during those times or I already have KLS.

I do the same, but I'm in college lol. I think young people have a natural tendency to be nocturnal a bit. I also sleep a lot when I'm feeling depressed as well though so watch for that.

I would kind of like to be able to do that. I sleep 6-8 hrs like clockwork.

You're not normal, but what's your environment like that encourages this hibernation-like sleep?

Dark and cold environment can encourage sleepiness.
Consumption of sugar is another one that actually makes some people very sleeeeeppyyy.
If you take any prescrip's that have drowsiness as a side effect, could be the culprit?
If you had a lot of work? Leisure time may be your recovery time?
    Prone to narcolepsy?
Seasonal Affective Disorder? Excessive sleepiness is a symptom

It's not typical to sleep like that, but it's not unheard of, not at all. I've done a ton of work and sought refuge in sleep for an afternoon. I just don't sleep 20 hrs straight, nope. I would like to do that, sometimes, lol! Ha ha. My circadian clock just doesn't do that. I just wanna know how you sleep that long without having to get up to pee? Ha ha.

Oh, and you should know that laying around that long can make you chronically lethargic due to lengthy inactivity. No worries, you can just get up, get moving, get some SUNLIGHT or BRIGHT LIGHT to revive your alertness.

I live in a tropical country. I don't like sweet stuff. I don't work, because I'm not really mentally stable. My doctor even lowered the dose of my meds but I still feel to tired. I can't even travel because it tires me alot. Not all the time but there are days that I feel like doing nothing but sleep.

By the way, I get up when I need to pee or eat but then after that I go back to sleep again. Maybe I'll be awake for about 30-45 minutes to do stuff then go back to sleep.
