    No I mean I literally won't know you are talking to me because I wouldn't recognise it as words. To me it is just noises.

      Yea that's normal. It's called not listening. you're just hearing people talk but you're not actually picking up the information. You could also be blanking out. It happens.
      Maybe see a doctor if it's bad.
