Is it normal that i can hear my hair growing

Everynight when I go off to bed I pet my hamsters, brush my teeth, and lay my ninja turtle action figures down to sleep. I am then off to bed where I cannot fall asleep. I can hear my hair growing all the time. It keeps me up for days and days. I've tried nyquil and other medicine but it just doesn't work. I have shaved my head a few times and still nothing. PLEASE HELP ME!!!

It could be lice or parasites, or you could be experiencing auditory hallucinations, and u could be hearing things in ur head, like a headache or increased cranial pressure. Bottom line is hearing your hair grow is not humanly possible ^_^'

It's not your hair!! You're concentrating too hard to sleep. It's okay though, when I try and relax to sleep I get so itchy all over that I can't sleep. Haha

No, not normal. Your hearing must be superb! Can you hear your neighbors talking in their own house? I don't know if I want to have such great hearing.

Look up the symptoms for Tinnitus. Does it sound familiar? Usually with mild tinnitus, you only really notice it when everything is completely silent...accept for the sound... Of Tinnitus.

    Seriously. Check it.

I don't know what you're hearing, but it's not your hair growing. Human hair grows at 1/2 in per month or less. That means it grows 1/5356800 of an inch or less per second. Way to slow to me making any audible noise whatsoever.
