To me, only commercial tractor trailers should have a bed. If you are referring to a regular pickup truck, they aren't supposed to have beds.
The box (back part where you can put cargo in) of a pick up is called a bed.
Oh. I always heard it being referred to as "the back".
Is it normal that I call large vehicles without beds, trucks?
