Is it normal that i black out alot?

i went to stand up to turn out my light and when i walked over to the switch, everything just went black and my legs felt weak and i just remember "waking up" on my floor, on my hands and knees shaking and just freaked out. i looked at the clock and 5 minutes had passed but it only felt like seconds. is that normal?

Very normal as it happens to so many people. I'm not too sure about the cause but I know it causes no harm it's self. The only problem is when you fall. It can happen as it's happened to me before. I would still check it out with a doctor as it can be because of a sugar imbalance or more but it's normal apart from that stuff.

I think you should definitely see a doctor because that is not normal. You may have low blood sugar or an iron deficiency. Its best to see a doctor just to make sure

I think you need to see a doctor. You could be passing out from low blood pressure or having seizures. And no, you wouldn't remember a seizure and you don't have to have the jerky movements for it to be one.

  • Happens to me all the time. Stand up slowly and add a little more salt to your diet.
