Is it normal that I believe that some dreams are real?

  • “Reality is merely an illusion, albeit a very persistent one.”

    • An illusion by definition is "an instance of a wrong or misinterpreted perception of a sensory experience."

Reality by definition is "the state of things as they actually exist, as opposed to an idealistic or notional idea of them".

So by declaring that reality is an illusion, Einstein is saying that 'the state of things as they actually exist is false'. Which is to say that what is true is false - which is a contradiction.

I'm not sure I quite get what Einstein meant by that one...
