Is it normal that i believe my lies?

Whenever I lie about something,I imagine that lie being part of ''a truth from a fantasy world'',then I imagine that this fantasy world is actually the reality that I perceive in a distorted way.
1 day later after involving my subconscious in this process,I'm convinced that my lies,no matter what, are actually the truth.
And this thing, with practice, became working every time for me.

Help us keep this site organized and clean. Thanks!

  • Honestly, I think it's funny when liars get exposed for what they are, especially via video or audio recordings.

  • Is it to deceive others or to deceive yourself? I think we all do this to some extent.

    • The purpose consists in deceiving others, but in order to do that,I deceive myself first.

      • What's the point of deceiving other people? Wasting their time, wasting your own time? Deceiving people is a good way to make enemies. Nobody likes a liar!

        • Deceiving people is a good way to make enemies if they are conscious of the fact that you deceive them.

The point of deceiving other people consists in obtaining what you want from them.

  • This is what pathological liars do. They are so good at lying that they lie to themselves. This is considered a sign of a mental disorder. I not sure how to fix you if you are a pathological liar since if you are its going to be reinterpreted anyways.

  • You say you believe your lies, but you can still tell when you're lying and when you are saying the truth. That's an oxymoron.

  • Pseudologia fantastica (a.k.a. pathological lying) is a common symptom of mental illness. Perhaps you should seek some therapeutic psychological treatment. It also wouldn't hurt if you were to do a little research about it on your own.

      • All my jokes are lame anyway :( I don't really listen to him either but I just thought of the line "be careful what you do cus the lie becomes the truth". I never understood how people just blatantly lie about things.

        • Your jokes aren't lame.
Your reply made me experience a feeling of empathy, this hasn't happened to me since last year,I wish I could thank you in some way..
ugh,who am I lying? all I want is to hug you and feel happy once again :)

joking,I'm a fucking psychopath and I wish I could feel any emotion, all I can do is pretend that I feel them.

          Now,honestly,I think I feel something.
Oh,sorry, that was my erection,a weird boner indeed..

I wish I could at least feel terrible instead of being emotionless,I'm really curious how it actually feels.

          • Well can I at least take credit for giving you that boner!? I'd be pretty shocked if it wasn't caused by me to begin with.
