I heard things like that before on this site. I think the main problem is some people (like me) don't take politics personally and others do.
I love to discuss really anything just for the sake of discussing. But I can absolutly hate your opinion and still like you as a person - It's like we were playing a game. I and most of my friends can get really loud when we're playing games, but it doesen't mean anything in the real world.
I can see how this can be confusing and hurtful if you don't separate persons and their opinions.
But maybe it helps you to you know it's not much more then a game to them.
Is it normal that I become upset by people discussing?
