I think people get aroused by furry porn because the portrayed furries match the archetypes of the person. In the end, I think people get aroused by the contact between the two symbolic characters, rather than the actual animal. After all, having sex with a real animal would be rape.

Everyone "beats it" to something. Sometimes the something we beat it to cannot be easily explained. The only reason it feels abnormal is because it is different, people are sometimes intimidated by difference and thus they are unkind.
