Is it normal that i barely talk to my older brother?

So my older brother recently moved out with his girlfriend about 5-6 months ago and we have barely talked or seen each other. He hasn't moved away far (like a 10 minute drive) and so I'd assume we'd be seeing each other more but we haven't which is weird. I understand that he is busy with his job and his girlfriend and all but I'd assume that I'd hear and see more from him. I think his reasoning is because his girlfriend and my mom don't like each other and there's a lot of tension between the three of them (i.e. my mom, my bro's gf and my bro) and I feel like she keeps him from us. Granted there is a lot of drama and history behind this and I won't get into it lol. It just makes me sad because I see a lot of people who have siblings with gf's/bf's who are super involved in the family but then I take a look at my family and all I see is drama and tension.
