I used to be with this way with my 8th grade crush. I always regretted not talking to him because he eventually thought of me as a weird stalker. I say, try to break the fear because, I doubt you situation will be like mine, but won't get any better as long as you stay away.
No; I avoided talking to him, but I stared at him from a distance. Not because I was stalking him but because I thought he was beautiful and I wanted to look at him. He assumed I was stalking him and it all went down hill from there.
