If your parents simply just throw it out without saving, leaving or offering you some, they must be able to afford it? You are not the normal one if your family i would suggest. There is nothing wrong about what you do, its like eating leftovers from a plate in a fancy restaurant. Dishwasher's gotta eat to get through the night!
But do yourself a favor, tell your parents not to throw it out, so you can give it to someone who would enjoy it more or so that you can enjoy it like a civil fucking person
