Is it normal that i, as a guy, take way too many pictures of myself?

I think it's kind of weird when guy/girl takes way too many pictures of themselves, and changes their facebook profile pic ALL THE TIME.

I got a friend request from a guy, and when I looked at his facebook page, it just consisted of notifications of him changing his profile pic. It made him look like a tool, and the same goes with chicks so my dislike is unbiased lol. Maybe I am just an asshole.

All in all? It's not a big deal. But I do find it strange when people post a bunch of selfies on facebook, guy or girl, but that is just me. So take care! I am sure you are a handsome individual. People don't need to see a hundred pictures of you to prove it:)

I think it's pretty normal. I know plenty of guys who take more pictures for their Facebooks than I do, and I'm a girl. Although, I'm sort of a tomboy, so I don't know if that counts. :P But I think you're alright. :)

I wonder why you think it shows a lack of self-esteem? To me, it's almost arrogant, saying "hey look at me!"

In fact, I can't understand the Facebook philosophy, even though my whole family are on it, apart from me and one brother. I honestly cannot understand why anyone would ever think that other people would be remotely interested where they went with their children yesterday, etc etc. It seems to be a mutual appreciation society but apparently numbers are falling now, as people are getting bored reading about other people's boring lives!

I'd say that the pictures kinda show the low self esteem. maybe try to delete some. but its pretty normal. too many people do it... i have so many friends that force me in all of these stupid photos with them & post the ones that they look good in and i look ehhh in... BITCHES. hah but i'd actually say your thing is normal, but probably a bit annoying to your facebook friends.

Why do some people refer to Facebook as "my Facebook"? Is it like a yearbook thing? We don't do that here so maybe that's where we're missing the analogy.

Remember that guy in that Amelie flick where he would take a picture of himself in a photo booth every year and no one new why but it turned out he was the maintenance worker and was just making sure that the machine worked properly? That was great. I'll leave now.
