Ok, since no one else will kindly answer your question, I will. I do the same thing; and it doesn't matter what the religion, I hear about it and then the research begins. I think some people just have a natural curiosity for what other people believe and how they live. You are probably curious about other cultures as well, for me it's not limited to religion. Theology, study that!!
