I'll be 38 very soon and am just beginning to notice the tell-tale signs of age -- most recently, my eyesight.
I have never worn glasses, but recently I noticed I was whiffing more tennis balls lately when the ball machine was at max speed. They'd whiz right by my head or past my racket sometimes.
So, my doctor sent me to an optomitrist and sure enough -- I needed my vision corrected. It wasn't bad, but it was bad enough that I was prescribed glasses. I also had them make me a couple of pairs of sports goggles for the club so I don't look like bagel boy out on the court, heh heh heh.
I did ask the doctor point blank if my vision issue was caused by my lifestyle. He said maybe, maybe not; but probably.
The upshot is, I simply don't care. I feel bad that I don't care, I know I should care, but the bottom line is, I can't force myself to, well..., care.
Is it normal that I am piss-drunk every single day?
