Your first two statements show good morality. I would suggest that you should have included to think with your mind, as well. I can not refute your statement that, "there is a God." There is, however, a misconception of this. You have deceived yourself into believing that it is a singular entity; that they are in communication with you, and that they have provided your every need. In fact, you have provided for yourself, and there is still much space for improvement.
Please re- read your second- last sentence. This is absolutely true.
There is hope, but we need to have more faith in ourselves. If we do not make significant improvements, there will be no assistance.
I find it amusing sometimes how people preach about god saving them all when God DID create the entire universe. We are insignificant ants on such a vast plain of endless stars and black holes yet these preachers talk as though God would save them from every plight.
There ARE truths to Creation Myth.
We are not "ants", and the Universe is not a " plain".
There IS significance to our existence.
The Universe has both a finite and infinite quality.
Isn't this what the whole 'dont take the lord's name in vain' is really about? Taking it in your vanity? Believing you're so special and above others because god has chosen you above others? I wince whenever I see someone claiming they won an award or played a good game of football or whatever because god helped them. To me these are the most vain and arrogant claims.
Is it normal that I am Jewish but do not believe in god?
