    Yup its completely normal. First love is something that never goes away from you, even if it is in thought.

      Well yeah, "first love" actually does go away. Many people just cling onto that fantasy its mere attachment and mourning of what could have been but many move on entirely...
      But, yeah to answer the question it is fairly common.
