Is it normal that i am confused about a user named "dappled"

Well basically that one user named "dappled" kinda confuses me. I can't tell if its a girl or boy. The username is in purple so I'm thinking, "girl?". Then I thought that "dappled" kinda sounds like an adjective (I have never heard that word before). But I really didn't know what it means. I also see a lot of comments by this user that are kinda bisexually typed. I'm really confused. Can someone tell me what this person is? Is he gay?

To the OP: You could have just asked me, you know. But, yeah, I'm male. Neither gay or bisexual (sorry, boys). But I do have a strong female side. Think of me as half male, half lesbian, if it helps. Both my halves fancy women.

The first time I saw his name, I thouught of dapple grey horses. They're GORGEOUS!! Absolutely my fave horse!!

      Sorry to barge in but I decided to look up "dappled" in the Urban Dictionary, just for the hell of it. The results are... interesting:

        Things to make you feel special: I know your first name too and the heritage of your surname. Oh, and your birthday (although I'd worked that out before you even said it).
        
        Thing to make you feel less special: I just have a scary memory for absolutely everything.
