I am an introvert and I can be very odd socially. I tried many times to make close friends but always seem to fail. May be it is because sometimes I get bored of people and tend to want my own alone time. The only person that I never get bored of is my girlfriend.she is an introvert too just like me but she has a lot more friends than I do. Am I normal ?
you're normal. every one out of three people are introverts but just that we have different habits or the way we do things. some of us are just tired from socialising?? we're naturally born to be much more peaceful and quieter so dont ever feel bad from being different with extroverts

I'm the same way. I can spend all day with my boyfriend (who is also introverted), and not get tired of him; but everyone else just seem to drain the energy right out of me within just a few hours or less.
Maybe you just dont care about getting close to too many people?
Just let it happen naturally if it does. No need to force it. But ya do whateva ya want.
