Is it normal that i am afraid of taking selfies in public?

I have a fear of taking selfies in public. To some point i know that this isn't normal because whenever i see someone else taking a selfie i don't see anything wrong with it, but if i am going to take a selfie there is just something stopping me and i have to wait for a moment when no one is close to me for some reason. Does anyone else suffer from this ?
P.s. I do not think that i am ugly or anything like that.

    Yes, you have something inside you that doesn't want to appear narcissistic. You are not narcissistic. This is a good quality to have
