If your definition of lolicon is truly "anime child porn" I think you need to quit watching.
A lolicon is actually someone who prefers younger girls or a style of art within the doujin/hentai community. In anime culture a loli is a young female/futa under the age 14. A shota is a boy under the age of 14. Toddlercon is usually the most extreme, and they are from birth to 5. Guro is violent, usually involving limbs being removed or extreme pain. Furrycon are anthropomorphic creatures, and their version of younger is called cub. There are also "pop culture" versions, and tentacle monster versions. And every combination of the above mentioned types. The age of consent (although it probably has changed now) used to be 13 in Japan. In fact, child porn was legal until the late 1990's. Incest is not illegal, it just isn't spoken of.
The legality of the con's is up for debate in most countries. It is illegal in Sweden, Canada, and most of the US. The general reason for this is because it is said that looking at drawn images of children doing sexual acts can lead into the real thing. The Japanese however, have a very different feeling about that statement. By allowing artists to draw, and publish their work (especially in magazines like Lo) they feel it helps prevent children from being raped, by giving the would-be rapist something else to do to take his needs out. It actually has dropped the rape amounts considerably between 0-16 age groups.
In your case, you found something you could potentially get in a lot of trouble for, involving an entirely different type of porn. I understand the excitement. It is normal to enjoy different things sexually.
I think that use of the term pretty common, just like hentai means pervert in Japanese, but in English it usually refers to Japanese pornographic drawings.
Also my understanding is that is not "illegal in most of the US", but rather it's a gray area. The Supreme Court said they can't ban simulated child pornography *as such*, however it can be, and on rare occasions has been, prosecuted as obscenity.
Even though its a grey area, it really depends on the state, and the particular mood of the court /court officials. I would be inclined to believe that it is protected under first amendment but that isn't always the case. Although I do believe it does it's share of helping prevent otherwise...worse...things.
Is it normal that i am addict to lolicon?
