Also they don't need a purpose accept in reality these livestock animals have been altered from what they were in nature and there is no place for them in the wild any longer because they never existed there. Still not sure your point....99.9% of horses are kept as pets, that includes those used to race for the most part by the way, ask anyone who owns a racing horse, it's their hobby, not their business.
