is it normal that I am a lot like someone else that I know. a lot of girls are usually girly, or tomboy and they are all the same but I have the same interests in clothes,hobbies and music as someone else and they are different from other people so people think I am copying them. is it normal that I can have stuff in common with someone else who isnt like everybody else
its normal.
i have a friend who has the same taste in music, movies, tv shows, and guys as me. (and same opinions on stuff)
at first i was always worried that people would think i was liking the same stuff as her on purpose to copy her (i was new at this school and she had been there a while.. so it could look a little odd), but after a while i just gave and and decided that i was just gonna like what i liked.. and if she liked it too, so what? thats a good thing, someone else can appreciate my taste and stuff.
and its pretty weird because we dont like mainstream stuff either. we both like grunge, alt rock, rap, 80s pop, punk, the doors, the beatles... and we both like horror movies and judd apatow films and indies. and we like all the same tv shows and we both like nerds and stoners and male models.
weird, huh? some people just have a lot in common.
