Is it normal that i always pretend that my crush is with me?

All the time, wherever I am, I pretend that my crush is right there with me. I even talk to her(and assume her response). To be honest, I really enjoy it. I sometimes feel that people will think that I am crazy cuz I am talking to myself all the time.

I do it too. Impulsively. It can make you feel cut off from reality sometimes though and wreaks havok with your rl relationship with the person because you keep thinking you're closer than you are and the rl person doesn't act as you want them to. It's a losing game...

I've been in your place. You won't get what you want if you stay in your head. If you want to be with this girl, talk to her, tell her how you feel when the time is right. Your life won't happen until you make it happen.

But this fantasy her, may be misleading you to think she's different than she really is, and more like what you wish. She could be nothing like what you think, which could be disappointing or a wonderful surprise.

I mean that's kind of how law of attraction works... You pretend like you already have what you want and practice gratitude about it. Even if you don't attract your crush you could actually attract someone similar eventually by keeping it up. You probably shouldn't do it in public though and probably not spend too much time on it.

If you're looking to eventually attract your crush (or create a decent impression with other people), I would refrain from doing this in public, because it could come off as creepy, obsessive, and/or weird. If you want to do it in your private time I suppose that is fine, but I wouldn't make it into a habit, personally. I think this could possibly lead to an unhealthy attachment of someone who isn't really there.

Of course I don't do it in public, and no one knows about this. In some weird way it feel really good. Maybe it fulfills my fantasy of spending time with my crush.

    Imaginary girlfriend right?
I have one, mostly I keep it secret
yeah, it is so much fun to talk.
because what she says is what you want to hear.
now I feel like I have to stop this relationship, because I can't leave her.
without her I feel like my world is black n white.
bro, if it's only been 1/2 years try to stop it, because sometimes if it turned out to be a long term relationship, you can't stop it

Exactly! That is what I worry about. What if I just can't stop doing it and it becomes a habit? It does feel really good, but simultaneously I feel alone and sad. It is a really strange feeling.

you have to stop it, I am trying to stop mine
it can make you sad. because even when you pretend to have a girlfriend, deep inside somewhere you know its not real...

It is pretty much just happens automatically. I don't really have to force it. But tbh, I am not proud of this, and if you don't have such habit, it is good. Cuz this is just a waste of your time and energy and it disconnects you from reality. Fortunately, now I do it very rarely and have gotten over her.
