My neighbor growing up didnt even have locks on his doors you didnt even turn the knob you just pushed it open. Then he had windows that didn't lock and the dude would go around robbing drugs dealers everyone knew where he lived. Idk how he didnt get kilt
It depends where you live, there are actually communities where everyone knows their neighbors very well, and may be remote enough to not worry much about outsiders. Must be nice. I’ve forgotten to lock my front door or even to close my whole garage door a lot of times and luckily nothing bad happened since the area is decent people. Still I wouldn’t feel safe to do it intentionally
