  • Based on the buzzing and heartbeat sound, it is possible you have a blockage and/or infection somewhere in the ear or nasal system.
    There is a lot of fluid and mucus in that system that can easily become dried up, or hard and cause painful blockages. The eustacian tube is a common culprit. This is the tube that connects the nose and the ear.
    part of its job is to balance the pressure in your ear so you can hear properly; so when it is messed up, you might get pain and funny noises in your ear.

    This might also explain feelings of nausea if the problem is inner ear related.

    Definitely go see a doctor, as this is easily fixed!
