    i'm not sure of what you say...but i think being clingy is not loving when the other person needs space

      I never said "clingy" as in being around every second of every day, like the overly-attached girlfriend meme. I'm just stating that one does not simply love with nothing to base the love upon which would be a stable foundation of effective communication.
