  • I've also had problems with eggs and chicken: my mother told me that as a toddler, I would develop a rash after eating eggs; I also vomited at about age seven after eating chicken for supper, and subsequently have been very careful about eating either. One curious fact: it seems that the amount has something to do with it; I love french toast, pastries, and a certain brand of Chicken Noodle and Chicken Gumbo soup; and have had no ill effects; but, I had a chicken salad sandwich and had one of the worst cases of gas I EVER had, and Italian Wedding Soup at a restaurant for lunch one day, and woke up at two the next morning convinced that I was about to vomit; so I wonder if there is a substance or protein in eggs and chicken that I can't handle in quantity, similar to some people being lactose-intolerant, or having problems with peanuts or gluten?
