Is it normal that i always daydream about my girlfriend cheating on me

Ever since I was a kid (I'm 22 now) I have always seemed to daydream about being the victim or a tragic hero in various scenarios, and have a really hard time focusing on the work I am supposed to be doing. One of the most constant daydreams I have, is one with my Girlfriend (we're great for the record) cheating on me and it plays out very sadly, always involving her parents taking my side at the end and my departure and my girlfriend in tears grovelling for her mistakes. These daydreams are usually able to move me to tears too. Is this normal??

Is It Normal?

  • No it is not normal. Especially if your daydreams evoke negative emotions that make you sad. And especially if they are constant.

There is something deeper here that needs to be sorted out. Perhaps something happened to you when you were much younger, where you were victimized and cannot remember, but certain things trigger this memory in your head and you reenact it through daydreams and current scenarios.

You have ingrams that need to be removed. I would look into Dianetics for help.

  • Day dreams could be anything. It is normal to have weird thoughts crossing your mind, they are only thoughts. Try to just let the thoughts pass and notoce that your having these thoughts but don't let them trail off. It's just a stream of worries and irrationality. Just let these thoughts pass :) good luck my friend.
